Tour overview
Discover the beauty of the largest and the deepest lake in Zemaitija region, famous for its gorgeous natural surroundings and its cultural significance. We will guide you through these crystal clear waters so that you can truly enjoy something that we call the “Wet Wet Experience” – a combination of leisure paddling and a gourmet picnic.

The Crystal Clear tour takes you along a well-known path of Plateliai archipelago in its unique, entertaining and memorable way. We know how to make sure you have an exciting outdoor adventure at an easy pace.

What we'll do
We will begin our adventure at a safe and quiet lagoon, where paddlers will master their basic canoeing skills with the help of our instructor. We will learn the basic strokes, how to handle a canoe, and the safety rules. Then we'll paddle to the centre of the lake through the picturesque archipelago, where we'll take some photos of you paddling.
We also use a drone to get even more impressive pictures. Then we'll navigate to the Castle Island, where a castle of the Lithuanian dukes was built in the 15th century. After exploring this site we'll head to another desert island to have our favorite lunch from the picnic basket. Simply sit back, have a glass of wine, a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the view. Once we've finished, we will head back enjoying a picturesque peaceful sunset.

What we'll provide +

Things to take: sunscreen, glasses, hat, swimming suite, bottle of water, rain waterproof jacket and a full change of clothes.
What to wear while canoeing is important.

When the air and water are warm, simply dress for a day at the beach. Keeping in mind to wear things that protect you from the sun and keep you cool.

When the air is cool, you have to assess the conditions and your capabilities more carefully.

The key concept to bear in mind is layering. Several thin garments will keep you just as warm as a single thicker one, and are much more versatile. Remember you’ll need to think about staying cool as much as staying warm, and you can always add or subtract layers. The base-layer provides insulation and picks up perspiration and either absorbs it (like cotton or wool) or wicks it outward (like synthetic fibers). You want moisture to be wicked away. The insulating layer can be wool, fleece, or a similar material. Look for garments that are cut to allow complete freedom of movement. The outer layer protects you, the base-layer, and the insulating layer from the elements. Make sure it is both windproof and waterproof.

Footwear can range from old sneakers to hiking boots, to rubber boots.
