We will meet early in the morning, well before dawn. On the way to the hide, your guide will set up everything you need to attract birds and will invite you inside. The guide (Boris) will explain the rules and give you a short briefing. After this, you will choose your preferred spot for photography or observation and organize your things comfortably.
The hide is heated and has a bio-toilet in a separate room. We will spend the whole day here, about 10-12 hours. We recommend taking a thermos and food for the day, as well as warm socks or slippers - the hide is carpeted, so we will ask you to remove your shoes.
Several species of gulls and ravens will be the first to arrive at the hide as soon as dawn breaks. They will be joined by crows and magpies. As the feast gets into full swing, our first-role actors -the white-tailed eagles, are usually undaunted as they fly down from nearby trees, where they have been keeping a watchful eye out for the safety of landing to feed.
Boris will tell you about the birds he observes and their behavior, reveal when to expect action from the eagles, and give you practical photography tips on how to catch those beautiful shots.
Usually, after a very intense feeding period, the birds start to take a siesta around lunchtime. This is when we will have a chance to eat, rest and prepare for the second activity in the afternoon. In the evening, the occasional Peregrine Falcon, Herons and quite often Foxes come to appear to pose.
